Little Bo Beep and Little Boy Blue

There was this innocent child counting all her keeps

Her first love taught her how to weep....

A fools devotion came to its end

Her altruistic fancy was broken and bent

While there on the meadows was a sleeping bloke

He should have listened as his lover spoke

But he chose to close his eyes and brush her away to sleep underneath a tree

To dream of a princess far from reality

Little Bo Beep so busy chasing a constellation on your bleeding knees,

Won’t you look down as you weep near a blooming cherry tree

A little boy needs to wake, He kept his eyes close to see your face,

While you longed for the warmth of an admirer’s sweet embrace

Two yearning hearts so near and yet so far

Both jaded and deeply scarred

The sweet lass wails endlessly for her bleeding heart

The world continued revolving as he suffered delusions in dark

Their mindfulness was filled with empty wishes

The world made them lost their senses

Little Bo Beep there on your feet was Little Boy Blue

As you break your neck and wait on shooting stars, he’s losing his head as he desperately dreams of you.

The wondering of how the story ends

That all wounds easily heal and mends

So let’s all toast on cherries and wine

As love departs these two despaired nursery rhyme
